High School Time Machine: What's Different?
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
For the past nine episodes of the High School Time Machine series, we’ve explored how many high school experiences are timeless across generations. But it would be naïve to pretend nothing has changed.
In this final episode, Hannah sits down with author and LuHi junior theology teacher Dr. Dave Rueter to discuss what’s different about high school today. From the constant presence of technology to the challenge of helping students move from information to wisdom, they explore how the environment surrounding students has shifted—and what students need most from the adults guiding them.
Together, they reflect on how parents, teachers, and coaches can serve as trusted sounding boards, helping students think well, grow in discernment, and stay grounded in Christ.
This wraps up our High School Time Machine series! We'd love to hear your feedback about if you enjoyed or disliked this direction for the podcast. We want to produce content that hits with our audience, so if this was a smash for you, we want to make more episodes like these! If this was a major miss, we'd like to hear that feedback as well.
Thanks for listening over the past two months!
